Prof. Ranjana Agarwal is a social scientist with over 25 years of experience across teaching and research. Her academic work is grounded in a multidisciplinary approach to economics, education, and social development, with a strong focus on socially relevant outcomes. 

She holds an MPhil and PhD in Social Sciences from Jawaharlal Nehru University and a BA and MA in Economics from Banaras Hindu University. Her work combines academic research with field-based interventions, particularly in areas of livelihood creation and community development.

Work Experience

Prof. Agarwal has over 22 years of teaching experience in business schools. She began her career at the National Institute of Educational Planning and Administration (NIEPA), New Delhi, before moving into management education. 

Her experience spans teaching, research, and academic development.
