Dr. Sajad Hussain Bhat

Dr. Sajad Hussain Bhat is a statistician specialising in sampling theory, statistical modelling, and data analytics. He holds a PhD in Statistics from Sher-e-Kashmir University of Agricultural Sciences and Technology of Jammu. 

With teaching experience across institutions such as UPES, Presidency University, Chandigarh University, and Asian School of Business, he has developed expertise in statistics, business analytics, and quantitative methods. His research includes publications in Scopus and Web of Science-indexed journals, focusing on exponential-type estimators, time-series forecasting, and applied statistics. 

He also holds a certification in Data Science using R from HarvardX, strengthening his analytics-driven academic approach.

Dr. Bhat is currently Assistant Professor (Senior Scale) at UPES. He has previously taught at Presidency University (Bengaluru), Chandigarh University, and Asian School of Business (Noida), delivering undergraduate and postgraduate courses and contributing to curriculum development and research mentoring.

Dr. Bhat has published in journals such as Thailand Statistician, Reliability: Theory and Applications, and Revista Investigación Operacional. His research focuses on sampling theory, statistical estimation, and applied analytics. 

He has presented at national and international conferences and regularly conducts workshops on statistical and econometric modelling using tools such as R and EViews. He also serves as a reviewer for academic journals and contributes to faculty development and research capacity building.
