Dr. Shobhana Dewangan

Dr. Shobhana Dewangan is a finance academic specialising in corporate sustainability and financial policy decisions in emerging markets. She holds a PhD from IIM Raipur, where her research examined the impact of sustainable performance on firm financial policies. 

Her work is published in ABDC-listed journals, including Pacific-Basin Finance Journal (A) and Emerging Markets Finance and Trade (B). With over seven years of teaching experience, she brings expertise in corporate finance, accounting, and sustainability finance, integrating empirical research with industry relevance in her teaching.

Dr. Dewangan has over seven years of teaching experience, including roles at Guru Ghasidas Vishwavidyalaya and Galgotias College of Engineering & Technology. 

She has taught postgraduate (MBA) courses and contributed to curriculum design and student mentoring. She also has prior experience as an Accounting Faculty at Onkar Educational Academy.

Dr. Dewangan’s research focuses on the intersection of corporate sustainability and financial decision-making, particularly in emerging markets. She has published in ABDC-listed journals and presented at national and international conferences. 

Her work uses advanced econometric methods and multi-country datasets to generate insights relevant to policy, investment, and corporate strategy. She actively engages in research workshops, academic reviewing, and scholarly collaborations.
