Dinesh Kumar Baghel

Dinesh Kumar Baghel is an Assistant Professor (Senior Grade) in the School of Computer Science at UPES, Dehradun.

He was a Ph.D. candidate in Computer Science at Ariel University, where he worked on Fair Division Algorithms for Electricity Distribution under the guidance of leading researchers.

He holds an M.Tech in GIS and Remote Sensing from Motilal Nehru National Institute of Technology Allahabad and a B.Tech in Computer Science and Engineering with honours, with multiple publications in fair division and bin-packing applied to electricity distribution.

Before joining UPES, he served as an Assistant Professor at Galgotias University, contributing to teaching, mentoring, and academic development activities.

He also worked as an Associate Systems Engineer at IBM India Pvt. Ltd., gaining valuable industry experience prior to transitioning into academia.
