Dr. Deepika Sachdev brings over 30 years of global industry experience across telecom, analytics, and large-scale digital transformation. Her work spans pioneering 5G networks, OSS/BSS modernization, and real-time analytics platforms for global telecom operators, with a strong emphasis on operational excellence, scalability, and revenue optimization.
She holds a Ph.D. in Blockchain, reflecting her commitment to future-ready technologies and applied research. As an academic and industry practitioner, she bridges the gap between classroom learning and real-world technology ecosystems. Her approach focuses on developing strong conceptual foundations, practical problem-solving abilities, and leadership confidence among students through industry-oriented learning experiences.
Dr. Sachdev’s expertise spans enterprise delivery, digital transformation strategy, telecom systems, analytics, and emerging technologies, enabling her to bring practical insights and global perspectives into the classroom.
Work Experience
Before joining UPES, Dr. Sachdev held senior global leadership roles including Global Delivery Head – OSS at Nokia, Vice President – Delivery at Knowesis, Singapore, and Program Manager at IBM Malaysia. She has successfully led multi-million-dollar, mission-critical programs across APAC, ANZ, and Japan, managing large cross-functional teams and complex stakeholder ecosystems. Her experience includes telecom transformation, analytics delivery, OSS/BSS modernization, and large-scale enterprise technology implementations.
