Dr. Gaurav brings over 15 years of experience in academic administration and teaching prior to joining UPES.
He has held leadership roles such as Head of Department and Training and Placement Officer, contributing to accreditation processes, quality assurance, and strong industry collaborations.

Teaching Philosophy
Dr. Gaurav believes that Computer Vision should be taught as a craft built on deep intuition rather than only theoretical equations.
He integrates rigorous theory with hands-on implementation, encouraging students to work on real datasets and practical problems from the beginning.
He emphasizes critical thinking, collaborative learning, and continuous feedback to develop independent thinkers capable of advancing the field.
