Dr. Justin has been passionate about computer science and programming since his school days, which shaped his academic and professional journey in the field.

He completed his B.Tech in Computer Science and Engineering from the College of Engineering, Chengannur, followed by an M.Tech in Advanced Networks from ABV–IIITM Gwalior, and a Ph.D. in Quantum Cryptography from VNIT Nagpur.

He is driven by a strong motivation to become the kind of teacher he once wished to have, focusing on curiosity-driven learning, research orientation, and meaningful student engagement.

Work Experience

After his B.Tech, Dr. Justin worked as a volunteer with a non-governmental organization for two years, gaining experience in community-focused initiatives.

Following his M.Tech, he served as a faculty member at an engineering college for one year and is currently working as a faculty member at UPES, contributing to teaching and academic development for the past year.

Teaching Philosophy

Dr. Justin believes that effective teaching begins by sparking curiosity and genuine interest in students.

He emphasizes interactive learning where students actively participate through discussions, questions, projects, and collaborative activities.

He focuses on conceptual clarity and encourages students to progress from foundational knowledge to research-level understanding in a self-driven manner.

Awards and Achievements

Recipient of the Late Shri Ramakrishna Bhargava Award for Fastest Ph.D. Completion in Computer Science and Engineering (VNIT Nagpur, 2025).

Scholarly Activities

Dr. Justin began his research in application-layer security, focusing on browser-based security and extensions.

His research later expanded into cryptography, particularly Quantum Multiparty Computation, with several publications in reputed international peer-reviewed journals.

He also serves as a reviewer for international journals and has been recognized for completing his Ph.D. as the first in his batch.
