Dr. Khushboo Jain

Dr. Khushboo Jain is a dedicated professor at UPES with over a decade of experience in shaping future engineers. Specialising in Core Computer Science Engineering, she blends deep technical expertise with a passion for teaching, making complex concepts clear and accessible for her students.

Over the years, Dr. Jain has earned the trust and admiration of both colleagues and learners through her excellence in teaching, impactful research, and commitment to academic quality. Her strong subject foundation enables her to guide students through challenging topics with confidence and clarity.

Beyond the classroom, she stays at the forefront of her field by actively participating in conferences, workshops, and seminars, ensuring her knowledge remains aligned with the latest industry and research trends. This dedication to continuous growth enriches her work, bringing fresh insights and innovative perspectives into her teaching and research.
 

After gaining valuable experience for 10 years, working with DIT University, Dehradun and engineering colleges affiliated with UPTU/AKTU in the NCR region, she joined UPES, where she continues to enhance her academic and administrative expertise.

Dr. Jain's teaching methodology revolves around creating an engaging and conducive learning environment, fostering active student participation. She employs innovative and interactive techniques that facilitate the comprehensive understanding of theoretical concepts while also nurturing practical skills essential for the field.  With a solid background in teaching, research, and counselling, she demonstrates exceptional organisational skills. She possesses a proven track record of enhancing test scores and delivering effective instruction. As a dedicated CSE educator for 8 years, she has been driven by a vision to revolutionise the teaching process through Problem Solving & Design Thinking principles. She firmly believes in fostering a classroom culture that nurtures problem solvers and critical thinkers, enabling students to strategise and pursue their goals with precision.

Dr. Jain teaches the core subjects on Data Structures, Design and Analysis of Algorithms, Python & R Programming, Data Warehousing & Data Mining, Software Engineering, Computer Organisation & Architecture, Computer Networks, Mobile Computing, Artificial Intelligence, Operating Systems and many elective subjects like Digital Forensics, Deep learning, Machine Learning.

• Delivered a session on "Navigating the Future: The Ethical Dimensions of Artificial Intelligence" in the International Conference on Artificial Intelligence and Information Technologies (ICAIIT-2023) Organised by Samarkand State University, Samarkand, Uzbekistan from 03rd to 04th November 2023.
• Served as a Resource Person for Invited Lecture on “Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning for Entrepreneurship” conducted on 25th August 2023 organised by Antha Prerna Cell, Department of Computer Science, Ramanujan College (Delhi University).
• Valued Speaker in the One Week Online Faculty Development Programme on the topic “Designing Machine Learning Using Python” on 20th January 2022 at Ramanujan College (University of Delhi) under the aegis of Ministry of Education (Pandit Madan Mohan Malaviya National Mission on Teachers and Teaching).
• Successfully Completed “Online Faculty Induction Programme (FIP)” organised by Teaching Learning Centre, Tezpur University during 03 August-02 September 2021 under PMMMNMTT Scheme of Ministry of Education, Government of India.
• Successful Completion of one week FDP on “Artificial Intelligence, Robotics and Automation”, from 9th March 2022 to 14th March 2022, at Banasthali Vidyapith under the scheme of CURIE-AI, DST, Govt. of India.

Dr. Jain has led multidisciplinary teams on an international collaborative project to better understand the data prediction and data aggregation models on Wireless Sensor Networks and Software Reliability Models. She has published more than 45 research articles in high repute journals indexed in SCI and Scopus. She has also been the reviewer for SCI journals published by Springer, Wiley, Elsevier, IGI Global, Bentham Science, etc. She is also an active member of various professional and scientific associations such as ACM, the soft computing society of India, etc.
