Dr. Suresh Veesa is a faculty member in the School of Computer Science (SOCS), UPES. He completed his PhD in Computer Science with research focused on speech signal processing and replay attack detection in automatic speaker verification systems. His doctoral work emphasized linear prediction, residual features, and deep learning-based architectures.
His academic and research interests include Machine Learning, Deep Learning, Speech Processing, Cloud Computing, and Biomedical Signal Processing. He has strong expertise in designing and evaluating deep learning models such as ResNet, RCNN, attention-based, and end-to-end architectures, along with feature extraction techniques including LP residuals, CQCC, MFCC, and spectrograms.
Dr. Veesa actively engages in teaching, research, and academic development, integrating research-driven methodologies into classroom instruction. He is proficient in Python, LaTeX (Overleaf), and modern deep learning frameworks, and remains committed to contributing towards high-quality education and impactful research.

Dr. Suresh Veesa has over seven years of teaching experience in undergraduate and postgraduate programmes at SMITW, Guntur. His teaching approach is concept-driven and application-oriented, incorporating practical examples, laboratory sessions, and modern tools such as LMS platforms and Python to enhance student learning and engagement.
