Dr. Vikramjit Singh Bhathal is an academician and researcher specializing in wireless communication, UAV networks, and intelligent routing systems. He received his B.Tech from Guru Nanak Dev Engineering College and his M.Tech from Punjabi University. He earned his Ph.D. in Computer Science and Engineering from Dr. B. R. Ambedkar National Institute of Technology Jalandhar.
His research investigates communication in UAV and Flying Ad Hoc Networks (FANETs), with work spanning routing protocols, beaconing strategies, UAV mobility, load balancing, handover mechanisms, software-defined networking, cybersecurity, and machine learning for trust-based communication. He has an established publication record in SCI and Scopus-indexed journals, conferences, and book chapters.
He has also served in key academic administrative roles, including examination responsibilities, faculty development programs, student mentoring, curriculum development, and accreditation activities.
Work Experience
Dr. Vikramjit Singh Bhathal is currently serving as Assistant Professor (Senior Scale) at UPES. Before joining UPES, he served as Guest Faculty at Dr. B. R. Ambedkar National Institute of Technology Jalandhar and worked as Assistant Professor at Lovely Professional University and CT University.
His experience spans teaching, lab supervision, accreditation and curriculum work, examination management, and organizing faculty development programs. He actively guides postgraduate and undergraduate student projects and research work.
