Dr. Yogesh Kumar Gupta

Dr. Yogesh Kumar Gupta earned his B.Tech from Gurukula Kangri Vishwavidyalaya in 2009, followed by an M.Tech from National Institute of Technology Kurukshetra in 2011. He completed his Ph.D. at Maulana Azad National Institute of Technology Bhopal in 2025.

His areas of expertise include machine learning, deep learning, communication systems, 6G technology, and quantum algorithms. He also brings strong capabilities in research, mentoring, and effectively communicating complex ideas through lectures, presentations, and publications. Dr. Yogesh strives to translate leading-edge research into meaningful impact while nurturing future researchers and engineers through strong mentorship and collaboration.

Prior to joining UPES, Dr. Yogesh accumulated over nine years of valuable experience in academic administration and teaching. He served for seven years at Sharda Group of Institutions, followed by two years at Rustamji Institute of Technology (BSF Academy). During this period, he held key academic roles, including Program Coordinator, where he oversaw curriculum delivery, academic planning, and student support.

With nine years of mentoring engineers and researchers, Dr. Yogesh believes education should inspire curiosity, critical thinking, and a strong foundation in core and emerging technologies. He is committed to fostering an inclusive, student-centered learning environment where learners feel encouraged to question, explore, and innovate. By integrating research insights into teaching and providing dedicated mentorship, he strives to develop technically skilled, confident, and future-ready engineers and researchers.

Over the past nine years, Dr. Yogesh Kumar Gupta has authored or co-authored more than ten peer-reviewed journal and conference publications. He has also mentored several B.Tech students, contributing to their academic development and research orientation. His scholarly engagement reflects a sustained commitment to teaching excellence, mentorship, and innovation-driven learning.
