Kushall Pal Singh

Kushall Pal Singh is an Assistant Professor in the School of Computer Science at UPES, Dehradun, and a Ph.D. scholar in Computer Science and Engineering at MNIT Jaipur.

His doctoral research focuses on federated learning for heterogeneous data, under the supervision of Dr. Dinesh Kumar Tyagi and Dr. Santosh Kumar Vipparthi.

He holds an M.Tech in Computer Technology and Application from NITTTR Bhopal (RGPV University) and a B.Tech in Information Technology from SCRIET, Chaudhary Charan Singh University, where he received the Vice Chancellor’s Gold Medal for securing first rank.

Before joining UPES in July 2025, Kushall Pal Singh worked as a Research Associate at IIM Rohtak (2019–2021), contributing to research and analytical work in the MIS area.

He has also served as an Assistant Professor at SRM Institute of Science and Technology, NCR Ghaziabad (2018–2019), and Dr. K.N. Modi University, Rajasthan (2017–2018), where he was involved in teaching, academic mentoring, and project guidance in Computer Science and Engineering.

Kushall Pal Singh is actively engaged in research on federated learning, heterogeneous data analytics, and intelligent decision-support systems.

His publications include journal and conference contributions in areas such as sentiment analysis, distributed ledger technologies, adversarial image retrieval, 6G communication systems, and machine learning applications.

He is currently working on federated learning frameworks such as FedHC and performance analysis models for healthcare applications, while actively participating in advanced FDPs, STTPs, and AICTE-ATAL programs to strengthen his academic and research contributions.
