Work Experience

Milton Kumar served as a Summer Intern at Shanrohi Technologies from June 2017 to July 2017, where he developed the Ramp WMS Android App. He has also gained teaching experience as a Teaching Assistant at IIIT Allahabad. From August 2022 to December 2022, he took tutorial classes, prepared questions, and evaluated more than 200 students of the B.Tech 3rd year for the Object-Oriented Programming course. Additionally, from January 2023 to May 2023, he performed similar duties for the Computer Networks course.

Research Interests

Milton Kumar's research interests lie in the field of Internet of Things (IoT) and Deep Learning. He is particularly interested in exploring crowd counting and density estimation using fog architecture. His ongoing project focuses on developing a system that can accurately predict the head count in a crowded image using Convolutional Neural Network (CNN) models. The proposed fog architecture aims to efficiently manage crowds at crowded places.

From August 2022 to December 2022, he took tutorial classes, prepared questions, and evaluated more than 200 students of the B.Tech 3rd year for the Object-Oriented Programming course. In this role, he demonstrated his ability to effectively communicate complex concepts, encourage active participation, and provide timely feedback to help students excel in their studies. 

Additionally, from January 2023 to May 2023, Milton Kumar served as a Teaching Assistant for the Computer Networks course, where he performed similar duties. He took tutorial classes, prepared questions, and evaluated more than 200 students of the B.Tech 3rd year, further showcasing his commitment to fostering a positive and supportive learning environment that promotes academic growth and success.

Milton Kumar also received a Problem-Solving Certificate from HackerRank, showcasing his problem-solving skills and abilities.

Scholarly Activities

Milton Kumar has worked on several projects during his academic and professional journey. In February 2019 to December 2019, he developed a Smart Remainder Android App using Android Studio, XML, and Java. The app handles alarms and other reminders, provides a chatting interface, and supports voice instructions. 

From March 2020 to December 2020, Milton Kumar developed a Keylogger Windows App using Visual Studio Code and C++. The app records keystrokes typed by the user and hides itself, running in the background. 

More recently, from January 2023 to May 2023, Milton Kumar is working on a project focused on Crowd Counting and Density Estimation using Fog Architecture. This project utilizes IoT, Python, Google Collab, Anaconda Framework, and Deep Learning techniques.
