Dr. Mritunjay Shall Peelam is an accomplished academic and researcher specializing in Quantum Computing, Blockchain, IoT, Edge AI, and Intelligent Transportation Systems. He completed his Ph.D. from BITS Pilani, where his research focused on the design and development of blockchain-based schemes for Intelligent Transportation Systems.

His interdisciplinary work spans quantum security, federated learning, multimodal machine learning, and smart mobility systems, with multiple publications in top-ranking SCIE and Scopus journals such as IEEE Internet of Things Journal, IEEE Transactions on Intelligent Transportation Systems, IEEE Transactions on Consumer Electronics, and leading Elsevier journals.

He currently serves as an Assistant Professor (Selection Grade) in the School of Computer Science at UPES Dehradun. His academic journey includes an M.Tech in Computer Science and Engineering from USICT, GGSIPU, where he received the Mr. Talented of the Year award, and a B.Tech in Computer Science and Engineering from IETE, New Delhi, securing All India Rank 9.

Work Experience

Before joining UPES, Dr. Mritunjay served as an Assistant Professor at Pranveer Singh Institute of Technology, Kanpur, teaching core subjects such as Java, Data Structures, and Quantum Computing.

He also has over eight years of experience as a Programming Language Trainer at Tejas Gate Academy, New Delhi, where he trained students in C, C++, and Java. His industry-focused training and academic experience collectively strengthen his expertise in computing and emerging technologies.

His work spans blockchain security architectures, quantum-safe communication, IoT data protection, federated learning, and predictive maintenance for vehicular networks.
