Ms. Riya Sharma previously served as Assistant Professor (Contractual) at Thapar Institute of Engineering and Technology from January 2024 to June 2025. Prior to this, she worked as a Junior Research Fellow from May 2022 to December 2023 on a Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY), Government of India funded project.

Her work involved model development, data analysis, and research execution in battery analytics and intelligent systems.
