Upasana

She completed her Ph.D. thesis to the National Institute of Technology Patna (NITP) in June 2024. The title of her thesis is "Lung Disease Identification using Computer Vision and Deep Learning Techniques." She completed her M. Tech. at the National Institute of Technology Meghalaya (2017-2019) and her B. Tech. in Computer Science and Engineering at DVSIET, Meerut (2010-2014). 

She has 1.5 years of experience in a service-based company, where she served as a Health Officer in Noida. In this role, she was responsible for developing and maintaining the websites, creating and managing databases for health records, and implementing user-friendly interfaces for health applications.

Her research interests encompass various areas, including medical image analysis, computer vision, machine learning, deep learning, and data mining.

She is passionate about teaching and strives to make learning engaging by linking theoretical concepts to practical, real-world examples.

Her areas of expertise include Data Mining, Programming with C, Python and Machine Learning.

She qualified for the Graduation Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) 2017. She was awarded the Ministry of Human Resource Development (MHRD) scholarship for her M. Tech at NIT Meghalaya from 2017 to 2019. She also received the Institute Scholarship for her Ph.D. at NIT Patna from 2019 to 2024.

She has published research articles in reputed journals and is a member of IEEE. During her Ph.D. tenure, she guided six interns for their summer internship at NIT Patna.
