Profile Summary
Aditya Shahakar is a multidisciplinary UX Researcher, Service Designer, and Design Strategist with experience across APAC and EMEA regions in healthcare, fintech, travel, logistics, and consumer technology domains. His work focuses on human-centered research, strategic innovation, and service design to drive meaningful improvements in user experience, business outcomes, and organizational decision-making.
With professional experience in organizations such as LTI Mindtree, Infosys, Cognizant, WNS Global Services, PepsiCo, and ImaginXP, he has led qualitative research, service blueprints, prototype testing, and strategic interventions for brands including JPMorgan Chase, ExxonMobil, and leading automotive, retail, and fintech companies.
Beyond industry engagement, he brings valuable experience in facilitating workshops, academic teaching, design thinking programs, and mentoring emerging designers. His approach integrates research-driven thinking with practical problem-solving to prepare learners for contemporary design challenges.

Aditya has worked in leadership and research roles with LTI Mindtree, Infosys, Cognizant, WNS Global Services, PepsiCo, and ImaginXP across strategic design, service research, and user experience innovation.
He has executed end-to-end UX projects, developed behavioral design interventions, facilitated CXO-level workshops, and delivered applied research outputs for international markets. His professional background reflects strong expertise in design-led transformation and customer experience strategy.

Jahnvi's teaching philosophy is rooted in holistic and inclusive learning, where design education extends beyond tools
Aditya's teaching approach blends applied learning, critical reflection, and experiential problem-solving. He believes learning must be immersive, collaborative, and rooted in real-world contexts.
His pedagogy is influenced by design thinking, participatory learning, and inquiry-based methodologies where students navigate ambiguity, make informed decisions, and refine solutions through iteration. His goal is to develop learners who think systemically, empathize deeply, and innovate responsibly.

Awards and Achievements
Recipient of a U.S. Patent for a high-altitude hydration system sponsored by Mountain Dew and PepsiCo. Conducted collaborative research with EY on post-pandemic behavioural shifts in education, retail, and remote work ecosystems.
Scholarly Activities
Aditya has worked on applied research projects aligned with emerging user behaviours, service ecosystems, and design-driven transformation in logistics, fintech, education, and healthcare sectors. He has published and presented work in UX methodologies, consumer behaviour studies, and design-led innovation frameworks, and continues to advance research practices in human-centered systems.
He has also played an active role in developing academic UX curricula, mentoring design research cohorts, conducting industry-level workshops, and supporting collaborations between academia and industry organizations, including EY and education technology platforms. His commitment lies in advancing UX and service design education while nurturing future designers to think strategically, ethically, and empathetically.
