Profile Summary

Jahnvi Trivedi is a Communication Designer and Multimedia Experience Specialist with a strong focus on immersive, research-led storytelling for museums and cultural institutions. She holds a Master's in Communication Design from DA-IICT and a Bachelor's in Design from Navrachana University. With experience across more than 19 projects in UX design, interaction design, documentary filmmaking, virtual tours, and large-scale media installations, she has made notable contributions to cultural experience design in India.

During her tenure at Myth Interactives, she worked with major government and museum clients including the Odisha State Tribal Museum, Similipal Tiger Reserve, Odisha State Museum, Directorate of SC & ST Research and Training Institute, Cultural Research Institute Kolkata, INTACH Bhubaneswar, and the ST & SC Development Department of Odisha.

As a design educator, she has taught UI/UX Design, Interaction Design, Systems Thinking for Communication Design, Information Design, Multisensory Design, Retail & Brand Environment, and Data Visualization. Her documentary Firki Ni Dori was nominated at CMS VATAVARAN, and she was featured on Vox Media's global podcast This Is Love.

Work Experience

Jahnvi has worked as a Multimedia Specialist at Myth Interactives, delivering immersive installations, 360° films, media walls, virtual tours, and UX-based digital experiences for institutions such as the Odisha State Tribal Museum, Odisha State Museum, Similipal Tiger Reserve, Cultural Research Institute Kolkata, and INTACH Bhubaneswar.

She has also served as Design Faculty at UID, Karnavati University, where she taught specialized courses in UX and Interaction Design. Earlier, she worked as Visiting Faculty at NSID and as a freelance designer. She has additionally been featured as a speaker on Vox Media's global podcast This Is Love.

Teaching Philosophy

Jahnvi's teaching philosophy is rooted in holistic and inclusive learning, where design education extends beyond tools and methods to nurture awareness, empathy, and meaningful inquiry. She encourages students to explore the social, cultural, and emotional dimensions of design while developing strong conceptual and practical skills.

Her classrooms prioritize reflective thinking, dialogue, and diverse perspectives, enabling learners to approach challenges with openness and responsibility. Through hands-on exploration and critical engagement, she guides students to integrate creativity, systems thinking, and ethical design practices.

Awards and Achievements

Recipient of the Best Research Paper Award (2025) at the Digital Dynamics International Conference for research on interactive storytelling in cultural heritage preservation. Her documentary Firki Ni Dori was nominated at the CMS VATAVARAN – Environment and Wildlife International Film Festival. Invited as a guest speaker at the Bird Stories Seminar (2024) at DA-IICT and featured on Vox Media's global podcast This Is Love.

Scholarly Activities

Jahnvi's scholarly contributions include research presentations, public speaking, and multimedia documentation of cultural narratives. She presented her award-winning research on interactive storytelling at an international conference in 2025. Her documentary Firki Ni Dori, which explores the impact of kite festivals on bird life, received recognition at CMS VATAVARAN and led to her appearance on Vox Media's This Is Love.

She has undertaken documentary and multimedia projects for institutions such as the Odisha State Tribal Museum, Odisha State Museum, Similipal Tiger Reserve, INTACH Bhubaneswar, and Cultural Research Institute Kolkata, including documentaries, interactive maps, media walls, 360° films, and cultural exhibits integrating research, user testing, and multimedia design.

Her academic work also includes a tactile navigation map for visually impaired children and research on Phad painting, reflecting her commitment to culture, accessibility, and storytelling-led design practice.
