Abel Shibu Simon is an Assistant Professor at the School of Law, UPES, specializing in Environmental Law. His expertise spans international, Indian, and comparative environmental laws, with a particular focus on climate change, its intersection with the law of the sea, and the human rights dimensions of environmental concerns.
More recently, his research has expanded into disaster governance and the role of the state in preventing and responding to climate-induced disasters.
