Profile Summary

Bhagyashree Agarwal is an Assistant Professor at the School of Law, UPES. Her academic trajectory includes an LL.M. in Human Rights from NLUJA, Assam, a LLB from Faculty of Law, University of Delhi and a B.A. (Hons.) in Political Science from Lady Shri Ram College for Women, University of Delhi. She is currently pursuing her Ph. D in Law from Dharmashastra National Law University, Jabalpur. She qualified the UGC-NET in 2022. 

Work Experience

Prior to joining UPES, Bhagyashree Agarwal served as a Faculty at Dharmashastra National Law University, Jabalpur. She was the Co-Director for the Centre for Constitutional Law at DNLU Jabalpur. She has taught both undergraduate and postgraduate law courses and has contributed significantly to academic events, research initiatives, and institutional development activities including NAAC, NIRF, and CLAT committees.

Bhagyashree has presented papers at several national and international conferences, covering topics such as advertising deception under consumer law, placement agency regulations, and reproductive rights frameworks. She has also been actively involved in academic editorial boards and organising major events, including conferences on transgender rights, international trade and gender, and personal data protection. Her ongoing doctoral research focuses on the legal and regulatory dimensions of pornography.
