With over 12 years of professional experience, Ms. Pooja Kumari serves as Professor of Practice in the School of Law, UPES. She specializes in legal practice, risk management, and compliance, with expertise spanning litigation, arbitration, contract management, and regulatory matters. She has worked with high-profile clients including Central Coalfields Limited, Bharat Coking Coal Limited, Ranchi University, and Exide Batteries.

A published author and visiting faculty, she is committed to bridging academic learning with professional legal practice. Work Experience

Prof. Niraj Shrivastava served as a Civil Judge in Chhattisgarh for over eight years (2016–2025), adjudicating civil and criminal matters across multiple districts including Raigarh, Bilaspur, Raipur, and Dantewada. Prior to this, he worked as a Law Clerk under the Controller General of Defence Accounts, Ministry of Defence, New Delhi.

He also practiced as an Advocate at Shekhar Shrivastava and Associates, Bhilai, handling matters related to contracts, labour law, industrial disputes, and regulatory compliance. He currently serves as Assistant Professor (Senior Scale) at the School of Law, UPES.

Prof. Niraj's teaching philosophy is rooted in experiential and practice-oriented learning. Prof. Niraj has served as a judge for an International Moot Court Competition organized by Galgotias University and regularly mentors students in mooting, trial advocacy, and research writing.
