Profile Summary
Mr. Prafful is currently working as an Assistant Professor (Law) at UPES, Dehradun. He completed his LL.B from the University of Lucknow and LL.M from National Law University, Delhi with a dual specialization in Constitutional and Criminal Law, having primary inclination towards criminal law. With a profound academic background, he developed a keen interest in academics under the supervision and guidance of some of India’s finest academicians which encouraged him to undertake academics as a profession.
Work Experience
Before joining UPES, Prafful has worked as an intern at Allahabad High Court, Lucknow Bench. Beyond his teaching responsibilities at School of Law, UPES, he is also serving as the Program Coordinator of BA LL.B (H) 2021 Batch.

Criminal Law | Critical Criminal Studies | Criminology | Victimology | Constitutional Law | Jurisprudence.
Teaching Philosophy
Adhering to the wide span of teaching approach, his philosophy centers around cultivating critical thinking skills to empower students as active learners and analytical thinkers. By integrating critical thinking into his approach, he aims to equip students with the ability to analyse, evaluate, and synthesize information independently. He creates an environment that promotes open dialogue, challenges assumptions, and values diverse perspectives. Through interactive discussions and problem-solving activities, he guides students to develop their analytical prowess, enabling them to navigate complexities, make informed decisions, and thrive in an ever-evolving legal world.
