He has also co-founded legal awareness initiatives and digital learning platforms that promote access to competitive examinations for law students and spread constitutional literacy among the public.

Work Experience

Before joining UPES, Sandeep served as Assistant Professor at GD Goenka School of Law, Mount Zion Law College, and VISTAS School of Law, Chennai. He also practiced at the Trivandrum Bar, handling consumer and civil litigation. He has coordinated NAAC compliance, led legal aid clinics, and supervised campaigns on electoral awareness and digital rights.

His administrative roles include Assistant Superintendent of Examinations, Faculty Supervisor for interdisciplinary SDG-based research projects, and Joint Secretary for LJRF, an NGO based in Kerala. His experience bridges academic theory, courtroom practice, and grassroots legal empowerment, offering students a comprehensive view of the legal profession.

Teaching Philosophy

Mr. Chandrasekharan's teaching philosophy is grounded in making legal education industry-relevant, socially viable, ethical, and action-oriented. He promotes participatory learning through case studies, institutional visits, and virtual simulations through an interdisciplinary approach.

His aim is to help students understand law as a living instrument of social order. He seeks to develop in students the critical thinking ability to apply legal principles in ways that facilitate the creation of wealth, rule of law, and justice within India and beyond.

Sandeep has presented and published research on digital monetary sovereignty, participatory finance, constitutional values, and restorative justice. His scholarly work is interdisciplinary, connecting legal theory with pressing global challenges such as economic inequality, environmental risk, and technological disruption. His doctoral research at NUALS explores how international law can be used to secure the right to development through codified principles of monetary sovereignty.

He has actively participated in conferences organized by HNLU, NUALS, DNLU, and GD Goenka University. His initiatives include the co-founding of Lawexams.co.in and LJRFVoice.in. Sandeep has organized legal literacy camps, mock courts, and lecture series on Ambedkarite thought, constitutional morality, and access to justice.
