Dr. Shambhavi Sinha is a dedicated educator and mentor committed to promoting academic excellence and fostering meaningful student engagement. She holds a Ph.D. in Law, an LL.M. awarded with a Gold Medal, and an LL.B. from the Campus Law Centre, Faculty of Law, University of Delhi. She also holds a B.Sc. (Hons.) in Zoology from Miranda House, University of Delhi.
With a multidisciplinary academic foundation and rich professional experience, Dr. Sinha brings a unique perspective to legal education. Her expertise combines doctrinal understanding, practical legal insight, and a strong commitment to student development. She is known for encouraging analytical thinking, ethical awareness, and academic rigor among aspiring legal professionals.
Work Experience
With over 16 years of varied experience in the legal profession, Dr. Sinha transitioned into academia in 2016. Prior to this, she gained extensive experience in legal practice, editorial work, and allied professional roles. Her combined exposure to practice and teaching enables her to connect legal theory with practical realities in the classroom.

Family Law, Women and Gender Studies, Criminal Laws, Human Rights.

Dr. Shambhavi’s teaching philosophy is anchored in the belief that legal education must integrate intellectual rigor with practical applicability.
