Dr. Yatish Pachouri

Dr. Yatish Pachauri is an Experienced Assistant Professor with a demonstrated history of working in the higher education industry. Skilled in Legal Assistance, Legal Research, Legal Writing, and Research. Strong education professional with a Master of Laws – LLM (Gold Medalist) focused on Energy Law and Ph.D. in Renewable Energy Sector specifically solar Sector.

Before joining UPES, Dr. Yatish Pachauri served as Assistant Professor of Law at the School of Law, Woxsen University, Hyderabad, where he played a pivotal role as a founding member. Preceding his tenure at Woxsen, he contributed to the academic landscape at JECRC University, Jaipur, and Jaipur National University, Jaipur. With a wealth of experience in legal education, Mr. Yatish brings a diverse and comprehensive perspective to his role, enriching the academic environment and nurturing the next generation of legal minds.

Dr. Yatish Pachauri teaching philosophy revolves around the integration of real cases to enhance practical understanding. Dr. Yatish teaches the Renewable Energy Law and Policy, and Company Law. He investigates how the existing policy on Renewable Energy is viable to deal with the challenges faced by RE sector more specifically Solar Sector.

Dr. Yatish Pachauri has received the Gold Medal for Best PG student at School of Law, UPES in 2017-2018 for his Academic Excellence.

His work has a strong approach towards RE sector in India. Further His Works also emphasis on the Betterment of Solar Sector by adopting best practices from other countries in Solar Sector in India.
