Justice VK Maheshwari
Former Registrar General, High Court of Uttarakhand
Shri V.K. Maheshwari was born at Saharanpur, Uttar Pradesh. After completing B.Sc., he obtained the LL.B. degree in 1972. Subsequently, he joined the Bar at Saharanpur and was selected in the Uttar Pradesh Judicial Service (1975) wherein he secured the second rank. He held different posts in Moradabad, Farukhabad, Mainpuri, Roorkee, Barielly, Dehradun, Kanpur and Nainital. Promoted as a District and Sessions Judge in 2003, he was posted in District-Chamoli. Appointed as the Registrar General of the High Court of Uttarakhand at Nainital in 2004. Retired in 2009. Thereafter, he was appointed as the Vice-Chairman of the Uttarakhand Public Services Tribunal, Dehradun in 2016. He also serves as an honorary faculty member of ONGC, THDC and NHPC.
