Program details
The B. Com (Accounting and Finance) is a three-year undergraduate program that builds a strong base in accounting, finance, taxation, auditing, corporate regulations and business economics. Co-designed with EY India, the program blends classroom learning with case studies, applied projects, software labs and industry interactions to develop practical, job-ready skills.
A key differentiator is the 270+ hours of specialised Accounting and Finance training delivered by EY industry faculty, helping students build analytical rigour, professional discipline and real-world exposure from early semesters.

Industry Trends & Career Opportunities
Accounting and finance roles are shifting from routine bookkeeping to digital, analytical and advisory work. Graduates with ERP/cloud accounting + analytics readiness are in demand across corporate finance teams, audit and tax practices, BFSI, fintech and shared service centres.
Career pathways include Accounts Executive, Financial Analyst, Audit Associate, Tax Assistant/Analyst, Compliance Officer, Finance Operations Associate and Business Analyst Trainee. Banking and financial services roles may include Credit Analyst, Banking Operations Executive, Relationship Officer and Treasury Assistant, while capital markets tracks can extend to equity research support, portfolio analysis and wealth management. The program also provides a strong base for professional qualifications such as CA, CMA, CFA, ACCA and CPA, and for postgraduate studies in commerce, finance and management.
Placements
Placement readiness is supported through internships, project work and software-based training, alongside employability inputs such as CV building and interview preparation. Graduates typically secure roles in accounting firms, audit and tax consultancies, banks/NBFCs, corporate finance departments, fintech firms and shared service centres, with stronger profiles (good academics + internship + certifications) often translating into faster progression and better roles.

Eligibility
The minimum eligibility criteria for B.Com (Hons) in E-Commerce to be fulfilled by interested students is as follows: Minimum 50% marks in Classes X and XII.

The process of selection criteria for students interested in pursuing B.Com (Hons) in E-Commerce offered by UPES is based on the individual's performance in Personal Interview.
