Program Details
The three-year B.Sc. Economics and Finance is an interdisciplinary program that equips students with an understanding of the economy, markets and financial institutions and the complex interplay of relationships between the three.
The first year of the program focuses on introducing economics and developing the quantitative skills required for the rigour of the program. The second and third years delve deeper into applications of microeconomics and macroeconomics and introduce core principles of finance. In the third year, students are primed for higher-level subjects such as corporate finance, asset pricing, and qualitative research in financial markets.
Students are required to undertake subjects from allied fields such as Political Science, History, Sociology, Mathematics and Statistics to explore congruencies with their core fields of study. Students also attend research seminars, lecture series, conferences and master classes facilitated by globally renowned academicians for hands-on training on applying theoretical concepts in real-world scenarios.
Students can also undertake an additional fourth year of research-driven study in Economics with Data Science to graduate with an undergraduate Honours degree.

Eligibility
The minimum eligibility criteria for B.Sc. in Economics and Finance to be fulfilled by interested students are as follows:
- 50% in 10th & 12th in any stream
Selection Criteria
Selection to the B.Sc. (Hons.) Economics with Data Science program is highly competitive and is limited to an intake of only 40 students. The selection criteria is a valid SAT score/ CUET.
