Nasha Mukt Bharat Abhiyan

Under the Nasha Mukt Bharat Abhiyan, the UPES Government Relations & Social Outreach Team and Chief Proctor Department in collaboration with the District Administration and Social Welfare Department, Dehradun, organised a De-Addiction Awareness Workshop at UPES Bidholi Campus, engaging 500+ students. 

Dr. Ashish Chauhan, IAS, District Magistrate, Dehradun, as Chief Guest, sensitised students about the harmful effects of drug addiction and emphasised self-awareness, self-discipline and self-control. 

Shri Shekhar Chandra Suyal, Superintendent of Police (City), Dehradun, highlighted the consequences of substance abuse and the importance of collective efforts to address the issue. 

The programme was attended by senior district officials and UPES leadership. The session encouraged students to become ambassadors for a drug-free campus and community and highlighted the importance of collective action towards a healthier and Nasha Mukt Bharat.
