Our industry expert on the webinar is Mr. Ashish Deshpande, an industrial designer from the National Institute of Design, Ahmedabad. He started his design entrepreneurial journey 31 years ago by co-founding India’s pioneering design practice, Elephant. Today, his enterprise is present in India as well as Singapore.

Mr. Deshpande is the former President of the Association of Designers of India and the current member of the Design Alliance, Asia. He has been on the Product Design Jury at Cannes Lions. He drove the design strategy for Symphony Limited, a public listed Indian company, which earned him the position of Independent Director in the company’s Board of Directors.

Also on the webinar panel is Mr. Manas Ranjan Mishra, Associate Design Fellow and Course Coordinator, Product Design, UPES. He completed his M.Des. (Industrial Design) from IIT Delhi and B.E. (Electrical Engineering) from Utkal University, Odisha. In his professional experience of over 16 years, he has worked with Srishti School of Art and Design and M.S. Ramaiah School of Advanced Studies. Mr. Mishra has also spent a few years in designing products for Aquacare, Delhi.
