UPES School of Design

UPES has partnered with Adventure Worx, a leading Indian outdoor gear and performance equipment company, to create a dynamic collaboration focused on design research, product innovation, and industry-integrated learning. This partnership strengthens UPES School of Design’s mission to co-create meaningful, real-world design experiences and contribute to the growing Indian outdoor, travel, and tactical gear ecosystem.

Through this collaboration, UPES and Adventure Worx will jointly:

• Undertake Collaborative Design Projects
  Multidisciplinary design teams will work with Adventure Worx on innovative product concepts, studio-led prototyping, user testing, and validation for real deployment scenarios.
• Establish an Innovation Think Tank
  A joint platform to explore new ideas, identify market gaps, and conceptualize next-generation product solutions.
• Develop Specialized High-Performance Gear
  Co-design products tailored for armed forces, high-altitude missions, and rapid-response teams, enabling students to gain experience in extreme-environment product design.
• Strengthen Academic & Training Pathways
  Adventure Worx experts will engage with students through mentorship sessions (online/offline), classroom engagements, internships, and graduation project opportunities.
• Promote Application-Oriented Research
  Both institutions will support research initiatives that advance outdoor design, durability engineering, material innovation, and ergonomic product development.

The partnership ensures that UPES students gain hands-on expertise in real-world product development from ideation to prototyping and field validation while working closely with industry practitioners.

This collaboration positions UPES School of Design as an emerging hub for performance gear design and outdoor product innovation, strengthening its commitment to industry-aligned learning and impactful design outcomes.
