UPES and Transworld Group, through TW Academy, aim to establish a comprehensive industry–academia collaboration to advance capability-building, research, and talent development across Supply Chain, Logistics, Shipping, Aviation, and Food Processing domains.

As part of this partnership, both parties will explore the creation of a Center of Excellence at UPES dedicated to logistics, commercial shipping, port and terminal management, and related areas, serving as a hub for learning, innovation, and industry engagement.

The collaboration focuses strongly on curriculum co-development, with UPES and TW Academy jointly designing industry-aligned modules that reflect current and emerging practices across the supply chain and allied sectors. TW Academy will also contribute through expert-led lectures, specialized modules, and facilitation of access to professional certifications and memberships for students.

The partnership aims to enhance career and experiential learning opportunities, including internships, live projects, and placements for UPES students within Transworld companies and associated organizations in India and the UAE. Additionally, both parties will co-create corporate learning programs to upskill working professionals in logistics, shipping, aviation, and food processing.

Joint efforts will also extend to knowledge-sharing platforms such as guest lectures, symposia, conferences, and workshops—to strengthen academia–industry interaction and bring real-world insights into the classroom. Faculty capability development is another key objective, with opportunities for joint certifications, applied projects, and engagement with industry experts.

Further, UPES and TW Academy will work together on research collaboration, including developing research papers, exploring sponsored projects, and contributing to thought leadership in logistics and supply chain management.
